We are likewise very pleased with the reception of the first edition. As one of the first JSP books on the market, we knew we were taking a risk. By presenting such reference material from the practitioner’s point of view, we appear to have struck a nerve. The first edition received both critical and popular acclaim as one of the leading books on the subject, and our thanks go out to all of the readers who contributed to its success.
